This wound mock-up realistically represents an older hematoma and is suitable for the practical simulation of typical injuries in medical training and emergency drills. The color gradient, extent, and texture are based on clinically known appearances of older bruises and support a differentiated assessment of the time of injury and the healing process. The soft, skin-like material provides an authentic feel and is safe to use.
The moulage is used in training for wound assessment, care planning, bandaging techniques, and emergency medical management. It adheres independently to simulated patients or mannequins and can be further secured with special skin adhesive for extended training sessions. This allows for realistic, repeatable training scenarios in hospitals, schools, universities, and training institutions. A storage box is included for safe storage and secure transport during training.
