The Sarstedt S-Monovette® with a 10 ml volume and a 3.2% citrate preparation is the professional solution for precise and gentle blood collection in medical practice. The closed system was specially developed for coagulation diagnostics and guarantees valid laboratory results due to the exact mixing ratio. Thanks to the high transparency of the screw cap, users maintain optimal visual puncture control throughout the entire process, which noticeably increases safety for both specialist staff and patients.
The special feature of this system is the maximum methodological freedom: medical personnel can flexibly choose between the gentle aspiration technique and the proven vacuum technique, or combine both methods. The material-friendly aspiration technique is excellently suited for fragile vein conditions, while the vacuum technique allows for rapid multiple collections. Changing the S-Monovettes during puncture is absolutely drip-free, reliably preventing contamination in the work area.
The integrated, easily labelable paper label ensures an optimized workflow in the laboratory, systematically preventing confusion of patient samples. The Monovettes are sterilely packaged and immediately ready for use. Due to their compatibility with multi-adapters for Luer connections and Multifly® cannulas, this system seamlessly integrates into existing clinical workflows and ensures consistently high sample quality.
