Leukoplast® Swab Abdominals are specially designed abdominal swabs used in surgery and surgical procedures to grasp and retain organs and body tissue , as well as to absorb fluids. These swabs offer excellent absorbency and hygiene , ensuring maximum safety for both the surgical team and the patient . All Leukoplast® Swab Abdominals are equipped with a loop and an embedded X-ray contrast chip to identify the swabs during the procedure and prevent them from remaining in the body in an emergency.
These abdominal towels are pre-washed , 20-thread count , and available in 4- and 6-ply versions. They are made from oxygen-bleached cotton according to DIN EN 14079 , ensuring the highest quality and safety . They are available in white and green and offer excellent absorption and conditioning for surgical preparation.
