The B. Braun Intrafix SafeSet Standard infusion set was developed for the reliable administration of infusion solutions for pressure and gravity infusions. The integrated AirStop membrane in the drip chamber prevents air from entering the infusion line, thus supporting an uninterrupted infusion process. At the same time, the integrated particle filter protects against coarse contamination of the infusion solution.
The PrimeStop protective cap at the end of the line features a hydrophobic and bacteria-proof membrane. This allows for automatic de-aeration of the infusion line and reduces the risk of fluid leakage during preparation. The sharp piercing spike facilitates piercing infusion containers and supports efficient work in everyday medical practice.
Thanks to a pressure resistance of up to 2 bar, the infusion set is also suitable for use with compatible infusion pumps. The flexible drip chamber allows for quick adjustment of the fluid level. The product is latex and DEHP-free, thus contributing to high material compatibility.
