The Erler-Zimmer strap-on vaccination trainer was specifically developed for realistic training in intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous injections . The training model can be strapped on like an upper arm , allowing for practical practice on a trainee or simulation figure – without risk of injury.
The anatomically simulated shoulder structure serves as a tactile landmark to identify the correct injection site. The trainer allows for the injection of real fluid using standard needles and syringes. Thanks to the lifelike material and puncture-resistant backing, the model remains safe and functional even with repeated use. After training, it can be easily disassembled and emptied. The surface is designed so that injection marks remain invisible – ideal for repeated use with hundreds of punctures.
