The skin suture trainer is a training model for the realistic simulation of skin suturing in medical and nursing education. The skin module is designed to resemble real skin and allows for the realistic execution of various surgical suturing techniques under practical conditions. Its material properties and surface structure are designed for repeated use and permit differentiated suturing techniques with common suture materials and instruments. The model is equipped with four suction cups on its underside, ensuring a secure hold on smooth work surfaces and stable positioning during training. The skin suture trainer was developed in collaboration with experts from university surgical training programs and is designed for regular use in skills labs, lectures, and continuing education courses.
