The Erler-Zimmer foot skeleton with tendon apparatus is a life-size anatomical teaching and demonstration model for illustrating the bony and selected soft tissue structures of the human foot. The model is designed for use in training, teaching, and clear demonstrations.
All foot bones are shown individually and positioned in their anatomical order. In addition, the model illustrates the essential tendon pathways and the muscles that attach to them in the foot and lower leg. This combination allows for a clear view of the spatial relationships between bones, tendons, muscles, and retinacula in the foot and ankle.
The model comes with a detachable stand, enabling stable presentation during lessons or demonstrations. A trilingual key card (Latin, German, English) facilitates quick orientation and identification of the depicted structures.
The foot skeleton with tendons is intended for use in anatomical and medical education, including physiotherapy, podiatry, orthopedics, and sports medicine. It serves solely to illustrate anatomical structures and functional relationships and is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications. Use outside of its intended teaching and demonstration purpose is prohibited.
