The DCT O₂ mask with reservoir is a breathing mask for the administration of high-concentration oxygen. It is intended for patients who have an increased oxygen requirement as part of oxygen therapy, for example in acute or emergency care as well as in inpatient or home settings with a corresponding medical indication.
The mask is equipped with a reservoir bag that allows for the enrichment of the inspiratory oxygen concentration. A 2.10 m long safety tube ensures sufficient freedom of movement and flexible positioning in the clinical setting. The integrated nose clip and an elastic fixation band support a stable and anatomically adapted fit.
Depending on the configuration, the mask can be operated with three removable valves. This allows for use with or without rebreathing, depending on the desired oxygen delivery and the clinical situation. The design enables the oxygen concentration to be adjusted as needed within the framework of the respective therapy.
To reduce microbial contamination, the mask is sterilized with ethylene oxide. It is intended for single use and is hygienically packaged.
