This bleeding simulation device is a powerful training system for realistically simulating bleeding in medical and emergency medical training scenarios. It consists of a pump module with three separately controllable ports, allowing for the simulation of either arterial or venous bleeding. Control is wireless via an included mobile phone, which serves solely as the operating unit. The type and amount of bleeding can be individually adjusted to realistically recreate various injury and treatment situations.
The pump module is equipped with integrated sensors that automatically stop the pump if the line becomes blocked, for example, during wound packing or when pressure is applied. This protects the device and simultaneously provides realistic training feedback. Depending on the intensity of use, the integrated battery allows for an operating time of approximately two to twenty hours. The battery is standardized, easily replaceable, and can be changed without any technical expertise; a suitable charger is included. The system is integrated into a backpack with a built-in hydration bladder for blood supply but can also be removed from the backpack and used separately if needed. This makes the bleeding device suitable for a variety of training environments in education, clinical settings, disaster relief, and first aid courses.
