The XXL forearm crutch is a stable walking aid designed to relieve pressure on the lower extremities and support mobility for those with limited walking ability. It is specifically designed for users weighing up to 150 kg and for taller individuals from approximately 195 cm in height.
The frame is constructed from robust aluminum combined with special lightweight metal tubes in a silver anodized finish. The armrests are made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic and offer high dimensional stability. Natural rubber ferrules with integrated steel inserts ensure secure contact with the ground and provide slip resistance.
The ergonomically shaped handle supports even pressure distribution and promotes a physiologically favorable hand and arm posture. Reflectors increase visibility in low-light conditions and contribute to everyday safety.
The walking aid is height-adjustable from 88 cm to 108 cm, allowing for individual adaptation to the user's height. It weighs approximately 1,400 g per pair and has a maximum load capacity of 150 kg. The design has been tested by the Technical University of Berlin.
