The Medizid® Alpha+ is a specialized, ready-to-use disinfectant that combines the highest demands on material compatibility and user safety. Thanks to its alcohol- and aldehyde-free formulation, the product is excellently suited for the reprocessing of particularly sensitive surfaces such as polyacrylic glass (Plexiglas) or medical inventory that could be damaged by alcohol-containing preparations. The ability to apply the product as a foam using the adjustable spray head minimizes aerosol formation and thus increases safety for personnel during application.
Efficiency in clinical practice is significantly enhanced by the broad spectrum of activity and short contact times. After just 60 seconds, Medizid Alpha+ develops its bactericidal and levurocidal effect. In addition, it offers reliable protection against all enveloped viruses (incl. HBV, HIV, HCV) as well as against non-enveloped viruses such as Rota and Polyoma/SV 40. This guarantees an unbroken chain of hygiene in sensitive areas such as nursing homes, hospitals, or sanitary facilities, without long-term damage to the treated materials.
In addition to its purely disinfectant effect, the product convinces with excellent cleaning performance. It removes dirt and germs in one step, saving valuable time in the hygiene cycle. Tested according to the standard methods of the DGHM and considering the RKI recommendations for virus efficacy, Medizid Alpha+ offers a legally sound and technically well-founded basis for every hygiene plan in a professional environment.
